Joseph J. Triarsi

Joseph J. Triarsi graduated from Villanova University and earned his J.D. from Boston College. He is admitted to practice in New Jersey, the U.S. District Court for N.J. and the U.S. Supreme Court. In 1982, Mr. Triarsi earned the designation, Certified Civil Trial Counsel, which he held until March 1989. He has been a member of the Supreme Court Judicial Selection Committee and served as Vice Chairman and Chairman of District XII Ethics Committee. Triarsi has represented public clients in the State of New Jersey including Union County, the municipalities of Clark, Garwood and Carteret and the Union County Improvement Authority. He has extensive civil and criminal trial experience and has been AV rated by Martindale Hubbell for more than 20 years. Mr. Triarsi practices in areas of complex litigation, including serious injury, medical malpractice, contracts and commercial disputes and probate and estate matters. He represents clients in residential and commercial real estate transactions; zoning and related land use matters; and business acquisitions and sales.

Rafael J. Betancourt

Rafael J. Betancourt graduated from Tulane University cum laude, and received his J.D. from the University of Puerto Rico. He is admitted to practice in State and Federal Courts in Puerto Rico, New York and New Jersey. He served as a Special Agent of the FBI from 1983-1987 and as Assistant Union County Prosecutor until 1988. Betancourt has represented various municipal clients, including Union County and Towns of Roselle, Roselle Park and Westfield. He served as a member and Chair of the Disctrict XII Ethics and Fee Arbitration Committees. He also served as a Municipal Prosecutor for the Town of Westfield from 1993-2000. Betancourt is fluent in English and Spanish and is a former two-term Councilman and Acting Mayor for the Town of Westfield. Betancourt presently serves as Chair of the Union County Bar Association Real Estate Committee and as an Adjunct Professor at Union County College in Cranford. He has extensive civil and criminal trial experience. Betancourt's current area of practice includes commercial and residential real estate transactions; contract matters; commercial negotiations and business acquisitions and sales.

Steven F. Wukovits

Steven F. Wukovits was raised in Union, New Jersey, and graduated from Seton Hall University. He was awarded a Juris Doctorate from Capital University Law School in 1987, and is admitted to practice in the State and Federal Courts of New Jersey. From 1989 to 1994, Mr. Wukovits served as an Assistant Essex County Prosecutor and Special Deputy Attorney General. He gained extensive litigation experience prosecuting a wide range of criminal cases. In 1995, the New Jersey Supreme Court designated Mr. Wukovits a certified Criminal Trial Attorney. As the principal litigator of the firm's Federal and State criminal defense work, Mr. Wukovits was reappointed as a Certified Criminal Trial Attorney in July 2002. He is a member of the National Association of Criminal Defense Attorneys, The Association of Trial Lawyers of America and the District XII Ethics Committee. Mr. Wukovits is also engaged in civil litigation including personal injury, workers compensation and family law matters.

Mark P. Dugan

Mark P. Dugan was conferred a Bachelor of Science degree in Business and Economics by Lehigh University in 1980, and a Juris Doctor degree by Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law in 1984. Mr. Dugan is licensed to practice law in New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania and the District of Columbia. He also is admitted to practice before the Unites States District Courts for the District of New Jersey and for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania, and the United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit. He is regularly appointed as the mediator by the Superior Court of New Jersey. Mark has served on the District XII Ethics Committee for Union County as vice chair and chair, and on the District XII Fee Arbitration Committee for Union County as panel chair. He has held public office as a Township Commissioner on the Township Committee in Cranford, New Jersey, where he served as Commissioner of Finance and Public Affairs. Mr. Dugan presently serves as a Commissioner of the Rahway Valley Sewerage Authority, where he also is chair of the Legal Committee and a member of the Finance and Insurance Review Committees. He has served as a member and as chair on the boards and on committees of various religious, charitable and civic organizations for more than twenty years. Mr. Dugan's practice focuses on commercial transactions and litigation, general equity litigation, commercial real estate transactions and litigation, commercial and residential leasing and landlord-tenant matters, employment matters, probate and trust litigation, and bankruptcy and creditors' and debtors' rights.
